Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend engineering expertise in Java and Spring Boot enterprise service architecture and distributed systems. This role focuses on building and optimizing cloud native backend services with heavy emphasis on performance scalability API design data modeling messaging and streaming services.
Required Skills
8 years software engineering experience
5 years backend development using Java Spring Boot
API architecture and microservices design
Service resiliency - retries idempotency circuit breaking
SQL database performance (tuning indexing stored procedures)
Cassandra data modeling & consistency configurations
Kafka streams & consumer optimization (offsets partitioning schema evolution)
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions etc.)
Performance tuning on JVM-based services
Git branching and workflows
Technical Environment
