As a member of the Product Design team you will be a voice and advocate for users of our website and apps understanding their goals desires and will collaborate with UX designers accessibility engineers and UX architects/researchers to craft beautiful intuitive and cohesive user experiences. Ultimately you will help shape the future of how we deliver information and services to our role is hybrid based in our NYC - 1211 Ave of the Americas City Will:Help the Product Design team define new user experiences across The Wall Street Journal Barrons MarketWatch and other various news and research from a multidisciplinary team including Product UX Research Editorial and on and take ownership of a project or initiative that spans the duration of the design direction aligned with Dow Jones Product Design across a multidisciplinary team throughout each phase of a develop innovative approaches to complex Product Design informed on trends tools and technologies in Product Design and proactively pursue knowledge for professional Have:Completed at least two years towards a Bachelors degree in User Experience (UX) Design Interaction Design Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Digital Media or Multimedia Design Computer Science or Information Technology or PsychologyBY NEXT SUMMER YOU WILL BE: either a rising junior or rising senior in your undergrad be a rising junior or senior in their undergraduate program Familiarity with digital product design best practices usability accessibility and user-centered design using Figma or a similar web-based design tool Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic workplace.A passion for identifying and solving and an engaged in Product Design information hierarchy user flow and typography : $25.00/hour#LI-Hybrid
