Join our growing team as a Survey Intern in Saco Maine. Take part in hands-on fieldwork that supports land development construction and environmental projects throughout the Northeast. Supported by a team of experienced surveyors and the use of advanced equipment and software you will help deliver high-quality survey results that drive engineering and planning decisions.
The most successful candidate for this position will enjoy working in an outdoor environment and will demonstrate the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of engineers planners and project managers. They will be detail-oriented and have a passion to advance their career in surveying.

What Youll Do:
- Conduct field surveys to collect data on land features boundaries and topography
- Operate and maintain survey equipment such as total stations GPS units and levels
- Assist in the setup and calibration of survey instruments
- Record and document survey data accurately and efficiently
- Assist in the preparation of survey reports maps and drawings
- Ensure compliance with survey standards and project specifications
- Communicate findings and observations to the Survey Crew Chief/Lead Surveyor
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during fieldwork
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Survey Crew Chief/Lead Surveyor
What You Bring:
- Currently pursuing a bachelors or associate degree in Surveying or a related field
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Microsoft Word and Excel
- Interest in surveying and willingness to learn
- Ability to travel as needed for fieldwork
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous engineering co-op or related experience is a plus
Salary Range:
20.00-24.00
