Culinary Receiver Full Time $22.66 - $26.78 per hour based on experience skills and education
Location: Bellevue WA (Spring District)
Schedule: MondayFriday 5:00 AM 1:30 PM Weekdays Only Benefits and Growth Opportunities
Lavish Roots is hiring a full-time receiver to join our talented team!
Lavish Roots is a renowned catering and hospitality company dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are currently seeking hiring a CulinaryReceiver in Bellevue.As a Receiver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management and storage systems. Your primary responsibility will be to receive inspect and organize food beverage supplies and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

What Your Day Looks Like:
- Rotate stock of food and beverage using FIFO (First-In First-Out) guidelines in all storage areas
- Conduct accurate inspections of all received items promptly reporting any mis-picks substitutions or shortages
- Mark products with the correct date of service and the appropriate department for efficient usage
- Safely transport items to their designated storage areas maintaining orderliness and timeliness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all receiving and storage areas including refrigerators freezers and dry storage areas
- Adhere to industry-accepted safe food handling guidelines
- Ensure the safety and security of received items to prevent loss or damage
- Create and maintain a safe work environment
- Perform general cleaning duties such as floor care and minor equipment maintenance
- Conduct weekly physical inventory and provide reports to the purchaser
- Drive to off-site campuses as required
- Organize the walk-in refrigerator and freezer twice daily upon arrival and after deliveries
- Consolidate products early in the day including discarding unnecessary cardboard and re-labeling when necessary
- Sweep and mop storage area floors at the end of the workday
- Assist chefs with inventory management tasks including disposables chemicals par-list items and alcohol
- Work with the Receiving Manager to identify shelves for daily breakdown and cleaning
