Job Summary

Job Title: Sr. Python/SQL Engineer

Location: Remote Experience: 7-10 Years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Python Development:

o Design develop and maintain Python applications to automate and optimize business processes.

o Implement robust scalable and efficient code using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

o Work with Python frameworks such as FastAPI for server-side applications.

2. Legacy Code Analysis & Translation:

o Review and analyze legacy VBA code.

o Translate existing VBA workflows into Python for improved efficiency and maintainability.

3. Database Management & SQL:

o Write optimize and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures.

o Manage relational databases and perform data extraction transformation and manipulation.

o Handle data in multiple formats including Excel CSV and other text-based formats.

4. Cloud & Platform Work:

o Work with cloud computing platforms (Azure AWS or GCP) to deploy manage and monitor applications.

o Configure development environments using tools like PyCharm or VSCode.

5. Communication & Collaboration:

o Present technical recommendations solutions and reports clearly to internal teams and clients.

o Collaborate with team members to ensure project delivery and client satisfaction.

6. Additional Responsibilities:

o Implement email and notification solutions using SMTP protocols.

o Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in coding standards security and data handling.

o Stay updated with emerging technologies particularly Generative AI (GenAI) and explore integration opportunities.

Key Requirements:

Proficiency in Python SQL Stored Procedures and VBA for Excel.

Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

Experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.

Familiarity with SMTP and email-based communication protocols.

Experience in setting up and working with development tools like PyCharm or VSCode.

Ability to work with diverse data formats and perform data manipulation efficiently.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure AWS or GCP.

Strong analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

BSc in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) is a plus.
