Job Summary

Senior Travel Consultant

Location: Cape Town Hout Bay

Salary: Competitive annual salary (in Rand - R)

Job Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service and personalized travel solutions to clients.
Manage client accounts including understanding their travel needs and preferences.
Research plan and book a range of travel itineraries including flights hotels and tours.
Stay updated on travel trends destination updates and industry regulations.
Assist clients in resolving travel-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners.
Utilize travel booking systems effectively to provide accurate pricing and solutions.
Deliver training and mentorship to junior travel consultants as needed.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Tourism Hospitality Business Administration or a related field.
Proficiency in using travel reservation systems and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Desired Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in travel consulting or a similar role.
Demonstrated experience in booking domestic and international travel.
Familiarity with various travel destinations cultures and customs.
Proven track record in customer satisfaction and sales achievement.
