Job Description
- Lead end-to-end data center projects from concept to handover.
- Define scope goals and success criteria aligned with business needs.
- Manage project plans schedules budgets and risk mitigation.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across teams and vendors.
- Ensure technical designs meet performance and compliance standards.
- Oversee feasibility studies and design validation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop procurement strategies and manage vendor contracts.
- Ensure timely delivery of critical infrastructure components.
- Supervise construction ensuring safety quality and progress tracking.
- Oversee commissioning and testing of systems for operational readiness.
- Manage FAT SAT system start-up and final handover.
- Provide post-construction support and issue resolution.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process in collaboration with the commercial and contracts team.
- Prepare procurement schedules bid documentation scopes of work and evaluation criteria for subcontract packages.
- Coordinate tender reviews commercial clarifications and recommendation reports for client or internal approval.
- Negotiate and finalize subcontract agreements ensuring alignment with main contract terms project budget and risk allocation.
- Drive early procurement of long-lead items (e.g. generators UPS systems chillers switchgear) to meet critical path milestones.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor performance throughout the project lifecycle including claims mitigation and variation management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or relevant experience
- 15 years of experience in construction and development managing large scale projects such as data centers
- Proven ability to lead large diverse teams
- Strong understanding of financial management including budgeting cost control and financial analysis
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies data center infrastructure and industry best practices
