Job Description

Senior Ecommerce Manager to lead the activation of our media and destination campaigns with a primary focus on the Maldives. This role is vital in driving revenue growth through digital channels optimizing ecommerce platforms and enhancing the customer experience all while ensuring KPI performance is measured and optimized. The Senior Ecommerce Manager will guide cross-functional teams support property activations for media campaigns and assist in developing destination marketing strategies to position the Maldives as a premier travel destination.

  1. Leading Property Activation for Media Campaigns:
  • Collaborate with the marketing creative and content teams to lead the activation of properties in digital media campaigns ensuring alignment with the Maldives luxury offerings and unique experiences.
  • Provide strategic direction to ensure properties are effectively integrated into campaigns across digital channels including social media email display and search.
  • Support the creation of content and assets that enhance the visibility and appeal of Maldives properties in the context of media campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using KPIs to optimize campaigns ensuring maximum ROI engagement and conversion rates.
  1. Leading Destination Campaigns for the Maldives:
  • Development and execution of digital marketing strategies to promote the Maldives as a premier travel destination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing initiatives are implemented across digital channels (social media SEO SEM email marketing influencers).
  • Assist in segmenting audiences and creating tailored campaigns that resonate with target customer groups highlighting the destinations unique attributes.
  • Leverage data and insights to refine strategies optimizing the marketing approach based on real-time performance.
  1. Platform & Sales Funnel Optimization for Destination Campaigns:
  • Lead the optimization of the digital sales funnel for Maldives-focused property and destination campaigns ensuring an efficient journey from attracting visitors to converting them into customers.
  • Oversee the functionality and performance of the ecommerce platform addressing any user experience issues that could hinder the purchase process or the exploration of Maldives travel offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing sales creative and product teams) to ensure seamless integration of destination marketing initiatives with the ecommerce platform enhancing the customer experience and increasing conversion rates.
  1. KPI Performance Measurement & Optimization:
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of all properties media and destination campaigns.
  • Use performance data to drive continuous improvements in campaign effectiveness customer experience and overall revenue growth.
  • Ensure that campaigns consistently meet or exceed established goals and objectives adjusting strategies as needed to improve performance.
  1. Team Guidance & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams ensuring alignment on goals and strategies across sales product and operations teams.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment fostering innovation and creativity while ensuring efficient execution of ecommerce initiatives.
  • Work closely with leadership and the Maldives team members to align ecommerce strategies with broader business goals and objectives.
  1. Budget & Forecasting:
  • Develop and manage a significant ecommerce budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources across digital marketing platform development and other key areas.
  • Lead financial forecasting for ecommerce performance aligning with company financial targets and growth projections.
  1. Operational Excellence & Ecommerce Optimization:
  • Continuously guide the optimization of ecommerce platforms ensuring smooth user experiences and effective property showcases.
  • Monitor and address issues related to site performance user journey and conversion funnels.
  • Regularly evaluate and recommend tools platforms and strategies to improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer journey.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Sales & marketing or related field
  • Minimum 5-6 years experience in luxury segment
  • Resort E-commerce experience preferred
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Pro-active self motivated loves challenges
  • The ability to achieve sales targets and work in a highly pressurized environment
  • Passion to lead and a desire to succeed
