SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

CORE OBJECTIVE:

• Promote and stand for software quality adhering to SQA principles;
• Contribute to faster software validation by utilizing automation technologies;
• Create and contribute to a good team spirit.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE ROLE AND SKILLS:

Experience & Role:

• At least 2 years as a software tester with sound experience in automation tools;
• Script C# tests for web services and messaging test flows of end to end in nature.
• Run automated tests and analyze test failures;
• Bug tracking and closure;
• Maintain scripts as per the latest development;
• Issue deviation from SPOs guidelines etc;
• Should have good knowledge of Defect Management process and be able to perform Root Cause Analysis of Defects arising out of Automation Runs.
• Automation Testing Experience in large enterprise applications with variety of front ends (web and desktop) and backend (Database Web services messaging interfaces etc

Technology skills:

Mandatory

• Understanding of object oriented concepts coding skills in C# of Java;
• Experience in testing web services like SOAP Rest;
• Hand-on experience in testing tools like SELENIUM POSTMAN;
• Strong understanding of SQA methodologies;
• Experience with SQL queries;

Preferred

• Exposure to performance testing and load testing

Methodology skills

• Agile-Scrum

• Good oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to understand end-user needs;
• Risk oriented sensitivity;
• Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.

PREFERED CANDIDATES:

• An ideal candidate is expected to be self-motivated with a  get-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines details and quality;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with the team positively and help them to succeed in their sprint deliverables. Must be able work and influence without authority;
• Any Bachelors/Masters degree with the right experience;
• Will be an added advantage if worked on Laboratory related applications;
•  Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group executives managers and subject matter experts.
