Your new role:
Using your advanced risk evaluation skills you will deliver great customer experiences by supporting customers and the team.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting customers with complex needs through their quote buy and change journeys.
- Supporting a team of underwriting specialists to deliver great customer experiences across the quote buy and change customers journeys along with supporting other customer care journeys (care pay renew and leave) as required including acting as 2IC for team.
- Provide and confirm quotations to team members on risks outside their underwriting authority.
- Provide support and advice regarding complex risks to team members allowing them to make informed decisions within their authority levels.
- Be accountable for resolving escalated complex underwriting queries or complaintsfrom Sales & Underwriting Consultants.
To shine in this role you will have:
- Minimum 1-year insurance experience of underwriting domestic and rural business
- Level 1 or 0 underwriting authority level
- Insurance underwriting technical expertise
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Coaching and training skills
- Proficient in Solvit and/or Protect systems
- High attention to detail
