Job Description
Lab49 is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Product Manager to support the development and execution of innovative product solutions for our this exciting role you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into well-defined product requirements manage backlogs and ensure the smooth execution of product delivery roadmaps.
This position is ideal for someone who is an entry-level Product Manager with 2-5 years of experience who is ready to take on more ownership while gaining exposure to client interaction and growth initiatives in an agile fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own the backlogwrite refine and prioritize user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering UX and business teamsto ensure alignment on feature development and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with developers and QA to clarify requirements troubleshoot issues and validate feature completion.
- Assist in defining and executing the product roadmap ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conductcompetitive analysis and user researchto inform product decisions and prioritization.
- Support sprint planning backlog grooming and other agile ceremonies to maintain development momentum.
- Define and track keyproduct performance metrics using data to drive continuous improvements.
- Eager to take on a variety of responsibilities beyond core delivery including contributing to product governance and driving continuous improvement through enhanced processes tools and reporting.
- Support client engagements by identifying opportunities to expand product scope or propose follow-on work collaborating with senior product managers and delivery leads.
- Help prepare materials for client or internal showcases including case studies user feedback summaries or product previews to demonstrate value and progress.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experiencein product management or a related role (business analyst product owner etc.).
- Strong experience writinguser stories acceptance criteria and defining donefor development teams.
- Familiarity withagile methodologies including sprint planning backlog management and iterative development.
- Hands-on experience withJIRA Confluence or similar product management tools.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers UX designers and stakeholders to balance business needs with technical feasibility.
- Strong analytical mindsetcomfortable using data to inform decisions and drive improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive product decisions and improve performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working onenterprise-level softwareor fintech products.
- Exposure toAPI-driven development and technical product considerations.
- Experience withdata-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with theconsulting environmentcomfortable working in client-facing roles and contributing to account growth.

The base salary range for this role is $120000 - $130000. Placement within the range provided above is based on the individuals relevant experience and skills for the role andlevel.
Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus which is determined upon company and individual performance.
Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
