What youll be doing
- Responsible for managing the co-ordination and completion of the Resident Assessment Resident Assessment Protocols (RAPs) and care plans as assigned.
- Complies with MOH regulations regarding completion of the RAI- MDS process.
- Completes accurate coding of the RAI - MDS and care plan documentation for all residents.
- Continually updating knowledge base related to data entry and computer technology.
- Chair RAI meetings as required.
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in Long Term Care experience with MDS.
- Current registration as RPN in good standing with the College of Nurses is required.
- Current RAI-MDS certification and AIS certification is required.
- Must be able to maintain complete confidentiality of information.
- Knowledge and experience with adult education strategies/facilitation.
- Strong analytical skills; knowledge in trending and analyzing data.
- Strong understanding of Point Click Care and RAI-MDS.
- Must be flexible to work variable shifts self-directed and able to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual
- Competent completing care plans from scratch
- Passing AIS testing
