Job Summary

About the Role:

We are seeking a Ruby on Rails Tech Lead with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to design build and scale high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will guide a team of developers drive architecture decisions and ensure delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of Ruby on Rails developers.
Architect design and develop scalable web applications and APIs.
Review code ensure best practices and maintain high-quality standards.
Collaborate with product design and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery.
Manage sprint planning task estimation and technical documentation.
Optimize performance security and maintainability of applications.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in Ruby Ruby on Rails and MVC architecture.
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL/MySQL and Redis.
Experience with API design (REST/GraphQL) and microservices.
Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks ( / preferred).
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes AWS/GCP and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with RSpec/Minitest and Agile development processes.

Good to Have:

Experience in scaling applications and handling high traffic.
Knowledge of Sidekiq ElasticSearch or Kafka.
Exposure to team management and performance reviews.
