Fitelo is a fast-paced Indian D2C Health-tech startup looking to hire a solution-driven Technical Lead . It is an AI powered online platform for weight loss and chronic disease management. The company was founded with a vision to help customers take the healthier route by eating right staying active and building healthy habits. It has grown exponentially with strong unit economics and is now looking to expand its team across multiple roles.

About the role:

We are looking for a Technical Lead to join our team and drive the delivery of innovative scalable and high-quality this role you will balance hands-on engineering with leadership responsibilities-guiding a team of developers setting technical direction and ensuring smooth execution of will partner with product managers designers and other stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. As a mentor and leader you will help team members grow while fostering a culture of collaboration ownership and continuous improvement.

Specifically this role will involve:

Design and develop scalable secure and high-performance backend services.
Lead by example through hands-on coding code reviews and technical problem solving.
Own architecture decisions for microservices APIs and data models.
Collaborate with frontend mobile and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Ensure strong engineering practices: testing CI/CD pipelines monitoring and documentation.
Mentor junior developers and guide them in technical best practices.
Optimize system performance reliability and cost efficiency (databases caching infra).

Ideal Candidate will have:

4 years of experience in backend engineering ( / Python must).
Strong knowledge of relational & NoSQL databases (Postgres Redis MongoDB).
Experience designing APIs microservices and distributed systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Solid grasp of data structures algorithms and system design.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
