Fiduciary Trust International is hiring a Relationship Associate (Investments) to join our New York City office on a hybrid basis with three days in office. This investments-focused RA will join one of our market teams in NY and partner with Fiduciary Trusts Portfolio Managers and other Relationship Associates in managing the wealth and financial needs of our High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients. Associates interact directly with HNW clients and manage follow-up and ongoing client deliverables.
Works with the firms Portfolio Managers on HNW family relationships and prospects including account administration preparing wealth projections preparation of cash flows fee reviews and preparation of PowerPoint presentations for client meetings.
New Account Openings: reviews documents to begin KYC. Reviews account openings to determine proper administration of account state law requirements beneficiaries tax suits and fee analysis
Reviews daily overdraft report to determine how to cure income overdrafts
Initiates wire transfers discretionary principal payments currency transactions bill paying and gifts & contributions. Helps clients with their charitable gifts and confirming gift details
Coordinates trust terminations and account closing
Bachelors degree
2-5 years experience in financial services with client-facing experience
Some investment management and/or trust administration knowledge preferred
Basic knowledge of competitors desired
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Effective interpersonal skills and relationship building skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Skilled in Excel Word and PowerPoint
Compensation: Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewardsmonetary and non-monetary designed to support their well-being and recognize their time talents and results. We expect the base salary for this position to range between $75k - $82k depending on level of relevant experience plus discretionary bonus.
