[ESC] Technical Manager (Automotive Embedded Software Development)

We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Technical Manager to lead our Automotive Embedded Software Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation excellent leadership abilities and a people-centric management and take responsible for across XC products (ADAS CP CE) driving future development in XC like Fusion Connectivity Autonomous Driving for regions like JP CN and .

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Development: Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineers fostering a collaborative inclusive and supportive environment.
• Business Development: Leverage technical expertise to identify and drive new business opportunities defining strategies for regional business growth.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning execution and delivery of embedded software projects ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
• Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on guidance in embedded software design development and testing. Stay updated with emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers product managers and external partners to align software development with business goals.
• Process Improvement: Enhance engineering processes to boost efficiency quality and team performance. Encourage best practices in software development and testing.

Qualifications :

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: At least 10 years in embedded software development including 5 years in leadership roles within the embedded software industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in C/C programming real-time operating systems (RTOS) and automotive communication protocols (e.g. CAN LIN).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Project Management: Experience in agile methodologies and delivering complex projects successfully.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluent in Japanese
• Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate coach and create a supportive work environment.
