Our client a leading multinational company in the beverage packaging industry is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across new customers new categories and export markets in Vietnam and the Southeast Asian region (SEA). This role plays a critical part in expanding regional presence and building long-term strategic partnerships with key customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customers in Vietnam and sub-regional export markets (SEA)
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with potential customers and partners
- Collaborate with internal commercial and cross-functional teams to develop and present business proposals
- Lead contract and pricing negotiations including cash management alignment
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with qualified prospects
- Promote and leverage company technologies products and services
- Drive new applications and new categories for company products
- Collect and analyze market intelligence: market share competitors trends and customer decision structures
- Monitor competitive pricing activities and market movements
- Perform other assigned tasks aligned with business objectives
Main Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Business or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development
- Experience or solid understanding of the F&B packaging/ Manufacturing industry
- Strong negotiation relationship-building and influencing skills
- Good understanding of commercial contracts and regulations
- Strategic mindset with a long-term sustainable growth orientation
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently including long-distance business trips
- Good command of spoken and written English
