About the Role:The Head of 451 Business will lead the 451 Research team at S&P Global driving strategic initiatives and overseeing P&L management to ensure sustained revenue growth and profitability. This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders and integration within the broader Energy Transition Sustainability and Services (ETSS) business.

The Team:The 451 Research team is a dynamic and innovative group dedicated to providing insights and advisory services in the tech industry. We value collaboration creativity and a commitment to excellence fostering an environment where diverse perspectives contribute to our success.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Manage overall P&L for the 451 business and oversee strategic execution for sustained growth.
  • Develop and implement a long-term growth vision and clearly communicate it to stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives for revenue growth and financial health through expansion strategies.
  • Collaborate with CI corporate functions on content commercialization including pricing and marketing.
  • Integrate the 451 business within the broader ETSS framework to enhance overall impact.
  • Build partnerships across industry government and stakeholders to identify growth and M&A opportunities.

Compensation/Benefits Information:S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $174420 to $348800. Final base salary will be based on geographic location experience level skill set training licenses and certifications. What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in the energy industry with a broad understanding of energy markets geopolitics and sustainability.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing commercial businesses in global markets.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation for growth.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong decision-making ability with a focus on achieving results.
  • Tenacity in navigating complex organizational structures.
