Host La Plume

Under the guidance of the Front of House Management Team our Hosts play a key role in creating a memorable guest experience from the moment guests arrive. With professionalism and attention to detail Hosts help ensure a smooth efficient and welcoming environment by managing guest flow optimizing seating capacity and communicating effectively with team members.

What Youll Do:

• Greet every guest with a warm welcoming presenceboth in person and over the phoneeven during the busiest times.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with Servers Bartenders and Managers to maintain steady and efficient guest flow throughout the restaurant.
• Escort guests to their tables while engaging in friendly and professional conversation.
• Take reservations accurately and efficiently both over the phone and in person with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean organized and fully stocked front entrance host stand and surrounding areasunderstanding that first impressions matter.
• Quickly become familiar with all table numbers and maintain awareness of seating arrangements and server sections.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications :

• Proven prior restaurant experience 
• Valid Smart Serve Certification Required
• High attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service restaurant experience considered an asset
• Flexibly availability for evenings weekends and holidays required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
