About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Graduate Environmental Planner / Scientist to join our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team in Sydney.
At AECOM our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team is helping deliver some of the most transformational projects in Australia from renewable energy and transmission projects to major road rail water and industrial developments. We combine innovative technologies with decades of expertise to deliver robust easy-to-understand analyses that achieve compliance support clients Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) objectives and create meaningful change for communities.
How youll make a difference:
- Apply your environmental science planning or engineering qualifications to real-world challenges.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams of scientists planners engineers drafters project administrators and contractors in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Develop skills in environmental assessment across renewable energy water and transport sectors as well as in navigating approval pathways under Commonwealth State and local frameworks.
- Support ESG initiatives by engaging with communities and key stakeholders.
- Embed sustainability and resilience outcomes within projects.

Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science Environmental Planning Environmental Engineering.
- Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
- Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2026. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026.
