The Role

This role is designed for early-career professionals with strong analytical capability intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn how systematic insights and bottom-up research come together in modern equity investing.

Working closely with the Portfolio Managers the Graduate Analyst will contribute to idea generation stock-level research model development trading analytics and execution workflows. The role offers hands-on exposure to equity markets financial modelling alternative datasets machine-learning techniques and portfolio analytics within a rigorous investment process.

Your Background and Experience

• Tertiary qualification in commerce economics finance or related field.
• May have post-graduate study commenced or planned.
• 01 year relevant experience (internships graduate programs or placements in investments markets or finance).
• Demonstrated interest in equities market microstructure and portfolio management.
• Comfortable performing data analysis preparing reports and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g. Power BI) advantageous.
• Basic scripting (e.g. Python/SQL) an advantage.
• Foundational understanding of the financial services industry and investment management.
• Awareness of ASX-listed companies and factors that influence equity prices; willingness to deepen knowledge.
• Basic understanding of investment approaches (e.g. factor investing) and dealing processes; readiness to learn.
• Client relationship mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams.
