We currently have a number of projects under development across QLD / NSW / VIC and we are seeking expressions of interest as follows:
- This is a FIFO role
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of surface and underground infrastructure packages (SMP civil electrical and controls).
- Provide technical oversight and direction to ensure construction works meet engineering quality and safety requirements.
- Manage contractor performance including monitoring progress resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules progress reports and forecasts for assigned packages.
- Coordinate interfaces between multiple disciplines and contractors to ensure integrated delivery of infrastructure works.
- Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support procurement activities including scope development tender evaluations and contract administration.
- Provide leadership in fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to HSE requirements.
- Engage with site operations commissioning teams and other stakeholders to enable smooth handover of infrastructure.
- Mentor and support junior engineers in technical and project delivery aspects.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Mechanical Electrical or related discipline).
- 8 years experience in project engineering roles with demonstrated delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure packages in mining or heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of SMP civil electrical and controls construction methodologies and standards.
- Proven experience in managing contractors and delivering complex site-based works.
- Excellent planning scheduling and progress reporting skills.
- Sound knowledge of project risk management and contract administration.
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of project delivery.
