Job Summary
At Our Organization we know education is about more than academics it s about helping students build confidence resilience and life skills. We re seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead a self-contained elementary classroom designed for students working on social-emotional learning and emotional regulation.
In this role you will teach and support elementary students within a self-contained setting providing direct instruction in academic content as well as emotional regulation and coping strategies. You will implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for all students ensuring individualized support that fosters personal growth. Creating a safe structured and encouraging classroom environment will be a key focus while collaboration with related service providers paraprofessionals and families will help ensure each student receives the guidance and resources needed to succeed.
Position Highlights:
- Grade Level: Elementary
- Hours: 37.5 per week
- Commitment: Full school year full-time role

Requirements
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field. A genuine commitment to supporting diverse learners and advancing educational equity is essential. Previous experience in an elementary special education setting is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid teaching license in Special Education with an LBS1 endorsement or equivalent highly recommended.
