Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Decision Support

Provide actionable insights through enhanced MIS reporting and financial analysis
Identify key variances and performance gaps to inform leadership decisions
Evaluate business initiatives from a financial perspective to support sound decision-making

MIS Budgeting & Forecasting

Develop finance-focused MIS dashboards beyond sales reporting
Implement budgeting processes aligned with business objectives
Track performance against budgets and support forward-looking financial planning

Accounting Operations & Compliance

Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounting entries; resolve existing backlogs
Oversee monthly and quarterly book closures in compliance with statutory standards
Maintain adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements

Process Development & Controls

Establish and institutionalize SOPs for core finance operations
Strengthen internal controls and ensure process efficiency through automation initiatives
Monitor adherence to Delegation of Authority and financial governance frameworks

Strategic Finance Leadership

Support the leadership team with financial insights for pricing procurement and growth strategies
Collaborate cross-functionally to align finance operations with overall business goals

Requirements

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance
10-15 years of finance domain experience
Must have retail or apparel industry experience
Must know Logic ERP
Strong financial planning budgeting and forecasting expertise
Proven ability to manage funding and cash flow
Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Collaborative leadership style with strong team-building and decision-making capabilities
