Job Summary

  • Own the entire sales lifecycle from lead identification and nurturing to proposal creation negotiation and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams for effort estimates Solutioning and documentation.
  • Maintain and report a robust sales pipeline ensure accurate sales forecasting and meet quarterly revenue targets.
  • Create high-impact customized proposals on Upwork and other marketplaces increasing bid-to-win ratio.
  • Manage online profiles (e.g. Upwork Clutch GoodFirms) and ensure consistent engagement and visibility.
  • Optimize bidding strategies based on marketplace trends and buyer behavior.
  • Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients across various regions.
  • Conduct consultative sales calls and follow-ups to understand project scopes budgets and timelines.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends pricing benchmarks and evolving customer needs.
  • Share insights with internal teams for product/service refinement and go-to-market alignment.

Requirements

  • 4 years of business development experience in the IT services industry (custom software mobile/web apps ERP/CRM).
  • Strong understanding of Zoho ecosystem and Odoo ERP (both functional and sales perspectives).
  • Proven experience working with clients across US UK Europe Middle East Pan-Pacific and Africa.
  • Align software solutions with client needs in industries such as: Banking & Financial Services (BFSI)
  • Insurance & InsurTech Healthcare & TelemedicineLogistics & Supply Chain
  • Excellent verbal and written communication presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess client business objectives to propose tailored solutions.
  • Proficient in CRM and sales management tools (e.g. HubSpot Zoho CRM Pipedrive).
