Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven QC Head to lead manage and elevate the Quality Control Department at our modern transformer manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be the ultimate authority for quality assurance responsible for establishing robust processes and ensuring all Power and Distribution Transformers strictly conform to customer specifications and the highest national and international standards (IEC IEEE ANSI IS). Key Responsibilities:

Quality Leadership & Management:

• Lead the Quality Control team providing mentorship and guidance to ensure quality excellence across all stages: incoming material inspection in-process manufacturing inspection and final product testing.

• Develop implement and continuously improve comprehensive Quality Control procedures standards and inspection protocols for all transformer components and assemblies.

• Manage and maintain the laboratory equipment ensuring all testing instruments are accurately calibrated and maintained as per schedule.

• Work closely with the Design Production and Supply Chain teams to implement a preventative quality approach and drive significant quality and cost improvements.

• Prepare manage and maintain all necessary QC documentation inspection records detailed test certificates and quality performance reports.

Standards & Compliance:

• Ensure strict compliance of all manufactured transformers with customer specifications statutory requirements and relevant standards (e.g. IEC 60076 IS 2026 IEEE C57).

• Conduct and lead internal quality audits (e.g. in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 QMS) and support all external audits (including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).

• Participate as the primary QC representative in customer inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).

Technical Oversight & Problem Solving:

• Supervise and critically review all Routine Type and Special tests including but not limited to: Winding Resistance Ratio and Polarity No-load and Load Losses Impedance Voltage Temperature Rise Partial Discharge and Impulse/High-Voltage Withstand tests.

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for internal non-conformities and customer complaints implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Manage the comprehensive audit and inspection of incoming raw materials including core steel conductors (copper/aluminum) bushings insulating oil and insulation systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. A Master s degree or relevant Quality Certifications is a preference.

• Experience: 12 to 15 years of total experience in Power and Distribution Transformer manufacturing with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to a QC/QA leadership or Head role.
