Job Summary
Cake Shop Cafe in Millbury MA is looking for a baker to join our team. We are located on 22 A West St.
Are you passionate about developing and creating delicious pastries and treats
If so you may be a good fit to join our team at Cake Shop Cafe in Millbury.
We are seeking someone who can keep up with making our delicious cafe staples as well as create new fun and exciting recipes to keep customers coming back for more.
Preparing baking and decorating a wide variety of baked goods including breads pastries cakes and well as laminating and shaping dough for croissants and other pastries.
Following recipes accurately and consistently to ensure high-quality products.
Maintaining a clean organized and sanitized work area adhering to food safety standards.
Monitoring inventory and communicating needs for supplies.
Assisting with order fulfillment by phone and in person providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience as a Baker with strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to product consistency.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move supplies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work Sundays-Thursday 5am-1pm or Sunday to Wednesday - 5am- 3 pm
A positive attitude and a passion for creating delicious food.
Serve Safe certification preferred but not required; can provide certification for the right candidate.
What We Offer:
$20/per hour. Salary is negotiable with proven experience. A bench test may be requested.
