Category Management Analyst

Shape the future of procurement as a Category Management Analyst. Manage KPIs track performance and foster continuous commercial improvement. Collaborate with the Category Managers to build metrics models align with sourcing strategies and create innovative solutions to achieve savings goals. Your insights will drive impactful results.
Key responsibilities
- Market Research: Conduct supplier and market analysis to identify cost structures and benchmarks.
- Procurement Data Insights: Leverage procurement and financial data to uncover trends and drive efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Analyze historical spend data to identify sourcing opportunities and measure supplier compliance.
- Competitive Bid Management: Execute various bid events (RFP RFQ RFI Reverse Auctions) across assigned categories.
You bring these skills experience & education
- Masters degree in supply chain management business or finance.
- Experience in procurement (e.g. T&L MRO Secondary Packaging or corporate services) is a plus.
- System Proficiency: Expertise in tools like SAP Ariba SharePoint Power BI Tableau QlikView Minitab and spend analytics.
- Data Analysis: Skilled in procurement data analysis to identify trends drive efficiencies and achieve cost savings.
- Research Expertise: Conduct in-depth supply market research analyzing trends supplier costs and benchmarks.
- Strategic Thinking: Big-picture planning with a focus on organizational success factors.
- Detail-Oriented: Precision and accuracy in all aspects of procurement activities.
- Adaptability: Thrive in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
- Microsoft Office Expertise: Advanced skills in Excel (data analysis) and PowerPoint (presentation creation).
