Job Summary

Our client is a leading commercial bank who is looking for a Head of Training leader to join them.

Training Strategy Development:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy aligned with the companys business goals and objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize training needs through collaboration with various departments and leadership.
Training Program Design:
  • Design and develop innovative and engaging training programs and materials including e-learning modules workshops and on-the-job training.
  • Utilize adult learning principles and the latest instructional design techniques to create effective training content.
Training Delivery:
  • Oversee the facilitation and delivery of training programs ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a pool of internal and external trainers as needed.
New Restaurant Openings:
  • Collaborate with operations to provide training support for all NROs.
  • Ensure a smooth launch and consistent guest experience.
Training Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Establish assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Continuously evaluate training outcomes and make improvements as necessary.
Budget Management:
  • Manage the training budget effectively ensuring cost-efficient training solutions without compromising quality.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of training professionals providing guidance and support for their growth and development.
Technology Integration:
  • Stay updated on emerging training technologies and tools and recommend their integration to enhance training effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Education Business or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior training role with a minimum of 15 years in training and development.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles instructional design and training methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets effectively.
  • Experience in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology.
  • Adept at evaluating and improving training programs based on data and feedback.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve prioritize manage multiple and changing timelines and multi-task with limited supervision while meeting established timelines.
  • Delivers results for which he/she is accountable.
  • Dependability flexibility and professional demeanor.
  • Maintains high standards of personal ethics and professionalism; is consistently honest and truthful in all situations.
  • Superior communication skills to influence motivate and manage diverse groups by building strong relationships.
  • Strong and effective written verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of various business disciplines
  • Must be able to work a variety of scheduled hours based on the needs of the business
  • Proficient computer skills including basic MS Office skills: Word Excel Outlook.


Required Skills:

Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration Economics or Finance/Banking. 10y experience working in finance and banking with 4-6 years in management positions in business units serving the SME segment. Advanced knowledge of financial products and services market industry specifics and the needs of SMEs. Up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations procedures and risk management policies and procedures. Advanced problem-solving skills business acumen and sales opportunity recognition. Advanced ability to gather information and analyze markets and potential customers. Advanced planning and execution management skills. Advanced communication and influence skills presentation skills and effective guidance skills. Advanced team management skills motivation and employee engagement skills.
