Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Business Development to lead their partnership and revenue growth initiatives.
This executive role involves developing new business opportunities nurturing existing relationships and managing the full affiliate lifecycle. You will be responsible for identifying and securing high-value partnerships maximizing ROI on all deal-making activities and ensuring sustained corporate growth across multiple international markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Affiliate & Partnership Strategy
- Define and oversee the complete business development plan including partner prospecting negotiation and contract closure.
- Pinpoint potential strategic alliances expansion initiatives and new revenue-generating collaborations in both B2B and B2C markets.
- Continuously refine negotiation strategies partnership models (e.g. rev share CPA) and contract terms to ensure long-term profitable outcomes.
- Conduct market research to support the companys expansion into new markets and maximize global revenue opportunities.
2. Team & Operational Management
- Recruit mentor and lead a results-driven Business Development team fostering a culture of high performance.
- Establish track and own individual and team KPIs conducting regular performance assessments.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the BD team implementing best practices and processes to streamline operations and maximize productivity.
- Set and manage ambitious plans and targets for revenue growth and return on investment (ROI) adjusting expenditures to optimize results.
3. Performance Data & Analytics
- Leverage CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and other analytics platforms to drive insights and data-driven decision-making.
- Use analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Google Analytics Tableau) to track and monitor performance generating regular clear reports for senior leadership.
- Gather partner insights and market feedback to share with internal Product and Marketing teams for continuous improvement.
4. Stakeholder & Industry Relations
- Work closely with internal teams (Strategy Marketing Finance Product) to ensure all business development initiatives are aligned with overarching corporate objectives.
- Serve as the key liaison for top-tier partners ensuring clear communication and mutual long-term success.
- Represent the company at industry conferences webinars and networking events to establish credibility and build a strong professional network.
- Stay current on all industry trends competitor activities and emerging technologies that could impact the business.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development strategic partnerships or a corporate development role.
- Essential: Strong experience with affiliate marketing CPA networks and the global eCommerce landscape.
- A demonstrable track record of successfully closing large-scale complex deals.
- Strong experience with sales pipeline management forecasting and managing performance metrics.
- A high capacity to analyze complex market data and formulate actionable growth strategies.
- Language: Full professional fluency in English is mandatory. The ability to operate effectively in diverse markets by speaking at least one other relevant language (e.g. Russian Hindi or other major Asian languages) is a key requirement.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to present insights clearly.
- A deep technical understanding of CPA models and performance-based marketing.
- Leadership or Project Management certifications.
