Job Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems. Responsibilities:
Installation and Setup:
Testing and Calibration:
Conduct testing and calibration of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to audio video or control systems.
On-site Support:
Provide on-site support during events meetings and conferences to ensure smooth operation of AV equipment.
Assist users with the setup and operation of AV systems.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of AV systems to identify and address potential issues.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance activities.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of AV system configurations installations and troubleshooting procedures.
Create user guides and training materials for end-users.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with AV engineers programmers and project managers to contribute to the successful execution of projects.
Communicate effectively with clients and end-users to understand their AV requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as an AV Technician or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment cabling and signal flow.
- Familiarity with AV control systems and basic programming concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
