ESSENTIAL DUTIES HIGHLIGHTS

• Provide oversight and management for IT development teams.
  
• Perform system and database administration file and access management using Amazon EC2 S3 or similar services.
  
• Automate data processing workflows and support technical operations.
  
• Use tools such as PowerShell Python AutoIt Windows batch or Linux shell to develop code algorithms models or scripts.
  
• Integrate and engineer systems while maintaining alignment with emerging technical trends.
  
• Offer technical support and training to a diverse client base.
  
• Design provision and maintain SQL databases including capacity planning and troubleshooting.
  
• Create custom baseline workstations and systems tailored to client needs.
  
• Design LAN and WAN systems including backup systems and disaster recovery architectures (DR).
  
• Evaluate hardware and software products against customer requirements for technical feasibility and procurement.
  
• Design test and implement Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software products for production deployment.
  
• Maintain the health scalability and security of Atlassian applications and plugins using Data Center.
  
• Manage project workflows permissions fields notifications and agile software development processes.
  
• Use Linux for application upgrades and troubleshooting service disruptions.
  
• Administer virtualization environments using VCenter and VM management tools.
  
• Leverage JavaScript to automate Jira project functions.
  

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Expertise in system design engineering and integration across multiple operating systems including Windows and Linux.
  
• Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting SQL Server databases ().
  
• In-depth understanding of Atlassian applications Jira Service Management Jira Software Confluence Bitbucket Bamboo Fisheye/Crucible Crowd and Insight/Assets.
  
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project workflows.
  
• Technical knowledge of backup systems disaster recovery architectures and virtualization technologies.
  
• Ability to evaluate hardware/software against customer requirements and implement scalable solutions.
  
• Skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell Python Linux shell and JavaScript.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in troubleshooting service disruptions.
  
• Experience administering Data Center applications and plugins to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  
• Proficient in VM administration and using tools like VCenter.
  

MUST HAVE

• An ACTIVE TS/SCI with FSP Security Clearance
  
• 5 years of System Engineer experience
  
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
  
• The ability to write code that follows best practices
  
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
