Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate PGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English instruction to senior secondary students fostering a love for literature and language and preparing students for their examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Instruction: Teach English literature language and composition skills to students in grades specify grades.
- Assessment: Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments projects and exams; provide constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Support and Guidance: Provide academic support and guidance to students addressing their learning needs.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on teaching methodologies educational technology and literature trends; participate in professional development opportunities.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with students parents and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in English or related field; . preferred.
- Experience: Prior teaching experience in English at the secondary level is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in educational technology.
- Certifications: Valid teaching certification as per local regulations.
