Job Title: General Manager (Sales and Business Development)
Location: Remote (Global preference for South Africa but open worldwide)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: Starting at $2500 (depending on experience; open to going higher for the right candidate).
Work Hours: Flexible schedule with overlap required between 10 AM 3 PM Pacific Time (minimum 12 hours daily).

Position Overview

We are looking for a Business Development & Client Success Manager who is highly professional process-driven and resourceful. This role requires someone who can build strong relationships with healthcare clients ensure smooth onboarding and support and actively drive business growth in South Africa and potentially other markets.

The ideal candidate will be confident interacting with hospitals and healthcare stakeholders able to manage processes with precision and proactive in problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Support and grow relationships with existing healthcare clients.
    • Act as the main point of contact ensuring excellent communication and professional representation.
  • Business Development
    • Expand client base in South Africa with potential to support other global markets.
    • Identify new business opportunities and assist in scaling operations.
  • Operational & Process Support
    • Develop and maintain structured processes to support client onboarding and account growth.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues efficiently.
  • Cross-Market Responsibilities
    • Potential to expand scope into additional regions and business areas.
    • Leverage the companys multilingual AI system (English Afrikaans Zulu) to serve diverse client needs.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Strong background in client management account management or business development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills especially with hospitals and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently take initiative and manage multiple priorities.
  • High degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to undergo reference checks and background verification (required due to medical data handling).

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare pharmaceuticals or technology industries (not required but beneficial).
  • Prior experience working with clients in South Africa or global markets.

Hiring Process & Timeline

  • Two-step interview process with leadership team.
  • No formal assessments required; emphasis placed on direct conversations and reference checks.
  • Target timeline: 35 weeks (including sourcing interviews and onboarding).
