Job Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our clients team in Dartmouth NS. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute your dynamic administrative support skills to a renowned Canadian organization ensuring efficient and effective operations of the office. This is a four-month contract with possibility for extension.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Front desk administration (directing inquiries mail management client services)
- Manage and coordinate senior managements calendars
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings (boardroom bookings general organizing & tidying)
- Review modify and prepare professional documents and/or correspondence materials; research compile and summarize information/data as applicable
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
- Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations as needed
- Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- Post-secondary education in administration is considered an asset
- 5 years of increasingly complex administrative responsibilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Quick to learn and adaptable to changing business needs.
- A positive attitude and willingness to pitch-in wherever needed
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail with a can-do adaptable work ethic
- Technically savvy and proficient in relevant software and tools particularly MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
