Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our client in Dartmouth on a part-time permanent basis. The position begins as an in-office role with the potential to transition to remote work and offers 15 hours per week with possible increased hours in the fall.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily office operations ensuring efficiency organization and excellent communication across the team.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Provide general administrative support to the team and management
  • Manage phone calls emails and correspondence in a professional manner
  • Schedule meetings maintain calendars and assist with coordination as needed
  • Prepare edit and format documents reports and correspondence
  • Maintain organized filing systems (both digital and physical)
  • Data entry and record management with a high degree of accuracy
  • Assist with invoicing basic bookkeeping or expense tracking (as applicable)
  • Support office operations and contribute to a well-organized work environment
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • 35 years of administrative assistant or office support experience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and general office technology
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Professional dependable and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently in an in-office setting
