Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical (Contract)
Location: Atlanta GA
Unit: Medical-Surgical
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 3x12 Night Shifts
Pay: $1747 weekly gross
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract assignment. The RN will provide patient-centered care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs while ensuring safe and efficient clinical practices.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to med/surg patients in a hospital setting.
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
Administer medications IV therapies and other treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes with sound clinical judgment.
Document care accurately in Epic EMR.
Collaborate with physicians interdisciplinary teams and patient families.
Provide patient education and support for post-discharge care.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required.
Proficiency in Epic EMR required.
Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications.
Strong communication critical thinking and multitasking skills.
Contract Highlights:
13-week contract with extension potential.
36 hours per week night shifts (3x12).
