Were looking for a Project Engineer to join our teamsomeone who thrives in collaborative environments and brings technical expertise to infrastructure and systems projects. This role is centered around delivering well-architected high-performing IT solutions for our clients in coordination with project managers technical leads and client stakeholders. You wont be handling reactive support ticketsyoull be designing building and implementing systems that move projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical contributor on IT infrastructure and systems projects collaborating with project managers fellow engineers and client teams.

  • Plan configure upgrade and deploy complex solutions including servers networking equipment identity platforms and hybrid environments.

  • Participate in project scoping solution design documentation and implementation planning.

  • Develop and implement system configurations for Active Directory file sharing virtualization platforms and hybrid cloud environments.

  • Perform diagnostics and root-cause analysis for project-related issues and oversee remediation efforts.

  • Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.

  • Create or update technical documentation related to deployed systems configurations and environments.

  • Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery standards.

  • Accurately log time and update task statuses regularly.

  • Work and coordinate directly with local teams as your remote hands to complete onsite tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 35 years of experience in infrastructure engineering systems administration or a similar role focused on project delivery.

  • Creative and quick thinking required to succeed as a remote engineer on systems you cannot physically access.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including:

    • Windows Server (Print DNS DHCP DFS FSMO roles)

    • Mixed-version server upgrades

    • Active Directory and Group Policy

    • Azure AD and hybrid identity environments

  • Deep understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware and/or Hyper-V.

  • Familiarity with auditing troubleshooting and configuring firewalls switches and APs in both simple and complex networks including VLANs QoS Layer 3 routing etc.

  • Able to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong time management accurate time entries and independent delivery of tasks.

  • General understanding of cloud technology to assist with on-prem migrations.

  • Work is in an open office environment with steady conversation and interruption
