Job Summary/Description:

We are seeking a qualified passionate organized and driven Local Sales & Marketing Coordinator for WKTB-TV (Telemundo Atlanta). This media professional will be located in Brookhaven GA. The position will assist Media Executives in transactional support and be responsible for the overall administrative duties. Key tasks include entering orders creating packages assisting with make-goods communicating commercial airtimes coordinating ad copy responding to incoming requests getting credit approvals following up on invoice discrepancies/collections and screening incoming calls and correspondence. They will also assist the Sales Managers in PowerPoint sales package creation and client recaps as well as Nielsen reporting and revenue tracking.

Duties/Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Responsible for entering television and digital orders creating packages and assisting with make goods.
- Responsible for communicating commercial airtimes coordinating ad copy and responding to incoming requests.
- Responsible for getting credit approvals and following up on invoice discrepancies/collections.
- Enter orders into the Wide Orbit system and verify accuracy.
- Assist with avails linking with historical rates and creating packages/proposals for Account Executives approval.
- Pulling daily pre-emption reports and contacting clients for make-good approval.
- Assist Account Executives with posting and pre-posting.
- Responsible for receiving ad copy from the client or production department and communicating airtimes to clients.
- Obtaining credit approval creating profiles for new accounts and responding to incoming requests
- Follow up with agencies and customers on invoice discrepancies/collections and other general administrative tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Other duties as deemed necessary.
- Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenges simultaneously.
- Create sales and marketing sponsorship/promotion plans literature and advertising proposals for clients.
- Work with internal departments to manage account stewardship through a process.
- Attend sales meetings training sessions and client meetings and promotions.
- Bring a high energy level ambition intensity and long-term perspective to be a core part of building something genuinely significant over time.
- Be a self-starter resourceful and able to identify and articulate opportunities for product/process improvement with significant revenue potential.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Proficiency in Excel Word PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook and a knowledge of Wide Orbit and Matrix.
- Relationship builder with an engaging and energetic personality and a desire to contribute to the team to win.
- Goal-driven and self-motivated individual.
- Excellent written verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong written presentation marketing and closing skills.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Bachelors degree preferred.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be willing to work full-time on location in Brookhaven GA.
- Must have a valid drivers license good driving record and insurance.
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 years or older.
