Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse Neonatal ICU (NICU)

Location: Brooklyn NY
Type: Contract
Pay Rate:
Local Rate: $2553/Week
Travel Rate: $2965/Week

Schedule & Hours:

34.5 hours per week
11.5-hour shifts 3 days per week
Every other weekend required

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse Neonatal ICU (NICU)for an exciting Travel or Local job inBrooklyn NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe effective and evidence-based nursing care to patients in the Neonatal ICU
Perform IV insertions phlebotomy and conscious sedation adhering to safety protocols
Monitor document and evaluate patient conditions promptly reporting changes to the medical team
Support families with education guidance and emotional care throughout the NICU stay
Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals in neonatal patient management
Maintain compliance with hospital policies standards of care and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years recent NICU experience

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program

Licensure & Certifications:

Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
