WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

Supplier Diversity is embedded in Pfizers Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Strategy. The Supplier Diversity Senior Manager is responsible for designing implementing and sustaining Supplier Diversity strategies with operational excellence. Responsibilities include driving data accuracy in support of internal and external reporting (e.g. Support U.S. Small Business Administration annual subcontracting compliance report) active involvement with third party advocacy organizations and incorporating changes to global sourcing strategies based on business changes and global trends impacting Supplier Diversity. The successful candidate will develop Supplier Diversity strategies in collaboration with Sourcing colleagues across multiple medicines and services they need when they need them.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

Program Operations and Support

  • Develop and execute small and diverse global supplier strategies based on data analysis from various internal sources and systems (Ariba Sievo SAP opportunity assessments etc )business requirements and industry benchmarks.

  • Drive business leaders across Pfizer to assess and maintain current US performance and expand the project internationally amplifying the current US program starting from top markets introducing it to both S2P and business developing supplier diversity strategies towards improved performance suppliers mentoring and formalized development plans to enhance their readiness for expanded spend in the markets.

  • Drive increased engagement amongst Sourcing colleagues with diverse suppliers through meetings presentations and the understanding of the global sourcing landscape within each category.

  • Collaborate with internal enabling functions including but not limited to PX DEI Government Contracting Government Affairs ESG and others to gain support and endorsement of Pfizers small/medium and diverse supplier strategies and to ensure alignment of respective strategies.

  • Manage third parties supporting Supplier Diversity where applicable.

  • Lead program changes based on in-depth understanding of demographics definitions legal and regulatory restrictions that are unique to countries.

  • Develop partnerships with international third-party organizations.

  • Develop and manage supplier diversity communications plan.

  • Lead annual supplier diversity event.

  • Create and present external educational content to develop suppliers.

  • Lead meetings create content and develop members of the supplier diversity council.

  • Manage annual supplier diversity opportunity analysis process in partnership with Insights team.

Relationship Building/Partnerships

  • Drive increased awareness of Pfizers Global Supplier Diversity program through strategic outreach activities with small and diverse suppliers through conferences trade shows and events.

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the Business and Sourcing organizations.

  • Build relationships and activate engagement from Colleague Resource Group leadership to progress common goals.

  • Develop and manage diverse suppliermentorship program to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Develop program training materials to educate and build awareness.

  • Become and serve as supplier diversity expert on all external awards and index surveys i.e. Corporate Equality Index Disability Equity Index Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility etc.

Supplier Diversity Reporting

  • Lead annual planning activities with senior leaders. Provide guidance and recommendations on annual target setting activities related to Supplier Diversity spend.

  • Support filing of annual Small Business Subcontracting Plan and Subcontracting Summary Report.

  • Support global audit activities.

  • Create dynamic reports to engage stakeholders and colleague resource groups.

  • Advise teams on various global Supplier Diversity approaches and levers to ensure targets are reached.

  • Lead Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier diversity reporting activities customer reporting and third-party reporting requests. globally.

  • Manage 3rd party data enhancement relationship.

  • Lead and manage Tier 2 program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • BA/BS with 6 years of experience in Procurement.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of procurement systems processes and procedures.

  • Analytical skills and experience with problem solving complex situations.

Nice-to-Have

  • MBA/MS with 5 years of experience.

  • PhD with 1 years of experience.

Non-standard Work Schedule Travel Or Environment Requirements

This role requires approximately 20% of time attending Supplier Diversity events and may require non-traditional working hours.
