Environmental Services Manager

We currently have an opportunity for an Environmental Services Manager. Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in leading the delivery of safe efficient and compliant cleaning services that support patient care and infection prevention. Reporting to Executive Manager Operations and Performance youll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

• Develop and implement Cleaning Management Plans aligned with SA Health and national IPC standards.

• Coordinate scheduled periodic and reactive cleaning services across designated healthcare areas.

• Ensure compliance with NSQHS Standards and monitor cleaning performance against KPIs.

• Lead and manage cleaning staff fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with clinical teams to integrate IPC best practices into cleaning operations.
  

What Youll Bring

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

• Experience in managing cleaning services within a healthcare environment.

• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.

• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.

• High-level communication problem-solving and data analysis skills.
