Were looking for a Platform Technology Manager to support the strategy & delivery of our Core Data Platform and our Data Infrastructure & Reliability Data Product Engineer and Data Governance value chains. Youll work closely with Product Owners technical teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of initiatives and alignment to strategic goals. What Youll Do

Lead technical delivery and execution across squads ensuring alignment to platform missions and business outcomes
Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define and execute technology roadmaps for Suncorps Data Infrastructure & Reliability Data Product Engineer and Data Governance Platforms.
Act as the technical conscious for Core Data Platforms and support Platforms & Tribes in navigating Platform guardrails and approvals in collaboration with Practice Leads.
Develop and own shared standards & guardrails for Data Infrastructure Engineering and how Core Data Platforms are engineered & run.
Direct HR Leadership for Platform Engineers and Platform Product Owners aligned to our Data Infrastructure & Reliability Data Product Engineer and Data Governance value chains.
Grow mentor & coach Platform Engineers and matrixed Practice & Chapter team members.

What Youll Bring

10 years of technical experience across Data Engineering Data Platforms or Data Governance domains.
5-10 years experience in modern Data Platforms and Data Product Engineering practices (inc. Collibra dbt Databricks)
5-10 years experience in Infrastructure as Code and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Experience in financial services or technology environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills from delivery teams to senior leaders and the ability to take the lead to influence and drive strategic views
Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively across teams
