Position Summary:
V-Tech Solutions Inc. is seeking personable and media-savvy candidates to serve as Public Relations Specialists in Washington DC. The Public Relations Specialist will act as a liaison between the organization and the public fostering positive relationships with media outlets government entities local communities and other public-interest groups.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications Journalism Marketing or related field
Certification: None required (certifications in media relations or strategic communications are a plus)
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Knowledge of media relations and public engagement strategies
Ability to represent the organization professionally in public forums
Experience with press releases media outreach and public messaging
Familiarity with digital communication platforms and social media

Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between the organization and the public including media government and community groups
Establish and maintain cordial relationships with news media consumers and public-interest organizations
Promote the organizations mission programs and initiatives through strategic communication
Support public engagement efforts and represent the organization at community events
Assist in developing and distributing press releases newsletters and public statements
Monitor public perception and respond to inquiries or concerns
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms

Pay Range:
$22.84 Hourly
