Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Manager to support the Fabrication South Carolina Aerostructures Team based out of Orangeburg South Carolina.

In this exciting position you will lead the charge in managing resources to drive impactful process improvements. Youll have the opportunity to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and your dedicated this role you will lead a passionate team ensuring the technical excellence of every product and initiative.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.
  • Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.
  • Manages develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality
  • Experience working within quality systems (e.g. Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS) International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001) or Aerospace Standard (AS9100)
  • Demonstrate leadership experience i.e. lead manager or supervisor in a formal or informal capacity
  • Experience in evaluating planning analyzing and developing quality tools techniques and methods
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills organizational decision-making analytical strategic planning and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience leading and influencing people in a Quality Engineering or Manufacturing organization
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint)
  • Experience with quality investigations and the MRB process
  • Experience completing process-oriented tasks accurately and in an organized manner
  • Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures
