Job Description

Position : Marketing Manager (E-commerce)

Work Hours (Client) : 9am - 5pm AEST

Pay Range : $1500 - $3500 USD/month(varies based on skill set experience level and region)

Location of Search : South Africa Philippines Latin America or Any Region

Work Location : REMOTE

Type of Contract : Independent Contractor

Duties and Responsibilities:


We are looking for an organized motivated and capable E-commerce Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will primarily support our online marketing division and report directly to our Head of Performance Marketing (co-founder). Its a hands-on role where youll oversee creative execution campaign management and the coordination of a small support team to ensure our e-commerce initiatives run smoothly.

Shopify Store & Campaign Management

  • Manage and optimize our Shopify storefront including product launches merchandising landing pages and promotional campaigns
  • Coordinate online sales events seasonal promotions and product releases in line with the marketing calendar
  • Ensure all updates assets and campaigns are implemented accurately and on time

Asset Creation & Content Execution

  • Oversee the creation of marketing assets such as photo shoots EDMs website banners and promotional graphics
  • Brief and manage creative partners (video editor graphic designer VA etc.) to deliver assets aligned with brand guidelines
  • Ensure all content is optimized for digital performance and user experience

Team & Project Management

  • Manage a small support team including a video editor paid support admin VA and potentially a graphic designer
  • Oversee workflows timelines and approvals to keep projects moving smoothly
  • Act as the go-to person for day-to-day e-commerce marketing operations

Performance & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the team to ensure campaigns are aligned with growth and ROI targets
  • Monitor results of e-commerce campaigns and promotions providing insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Stay updated on Shopify features apps and best practices to enhance store performance

Minimum Requirements:

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills

Education: Bachelors Degree (ideally)

Experience: 5 years of related experience

Industry: Passionate about skincare wellness or health (a plus but not required)

  • 5 years of experience in e-commerce shopify marketing management role
  • Strong mix of analytical thinking and creative flair you can dive into performance data and also breathe design into every campaign
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (email paid content CRO)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities campaigns etc
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel Figma and Google Drive (or similar platforms)
  • Experience managing creative production workflows (photo design content)
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret results and suggest improvements
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Canva Google Analytics)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive solutions-oriented mindset
