Job Summary

Tasks
- Application Development: Design develop and maintain applications on the OpenShift platform ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Pipeline Management: Utilize OpenShift Pipelines to automate the build test and deployment processes enhancing the efficiency of the development lifecycle.
- GitOps Implementation: Implement and manage OpenShift GitOps practices to streamline application delivery and version control.
- Helm Chart Management: Create and manage Helm charts for packaging and deploying applications ensuring consistency and reliability across environments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps QA and other development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and application development and be willing to learn new tools and methodologies as needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in OpenShift: Strong experience in application development using OpenShift with a deep understanding of its architecture and capabilities.
- OpenShift Pipelines: Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift Pipelines.
- OpenShift GitOps: Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools for managing application deployments and infrastructure as code.
- Helm Knowledge: Solid understanding of Helm for managing Kubernetes applications including creating and deploying Helm charts.
- Be able to travel once a month to a specific European city Bonus Skills:
- Cert Manager: Knowledge of Cert Manager for managing SSL/TLS certificates in Kubernetes environments.
- ServiceMesh: Familiarity with ServiceMesh technologies to enhance microservices communication and management.
- GitLab: Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD processes. Desirable Experience:
- IBM MQ: Familiarity with IBM MQ for messaging and integration solutions.
- Payments Experience: Previous experience in payment processing systems or financial applications is a plus.
