The Student-Athlete Internship Program
Fidelity Investments is excited to offer a unique opportunity for rising junior and senior student athletes to explore a career in financial services through our Student-Athlete Internship Program. This 6-week paid summer internship is designed to help student athletes gain valuable corporate experience and envision their professional journey beyond college athletics.
Program Highlights:
Interns will be matched with teams based on their interests and career aspirations across four key areas:
Client Relations: Roles in financial consulting customer advocacy account management and sales.
Corporate Support Services: Opportunities in marketing events communications and corporate services.
Operations: Roles on teams who work closely with clients and business partners to ensure the flawless delivery of Fidelitys products and services.
Technology: Primarily software and data engineering roles.
In addition to hands-on experience the program includes:
On-the-job career development training tailored to your chosen career path
Mentorship and panel discussions with former college athletes now working at Fidelity
A collaborative capstone project with your intern cohort
Access to select events within Fidelitys broader summer internship program
Program Eligibility
Currently enrolled undergraduate student returning to school post-internship
Available for the full program duration:June 1 July 10 2026
Able to commit to30 hours/week MondayFriday:
On-site: MondayThursday 10 AM 4 PM
Remote: Fridays
Must be able to work on-site at one of the following Fidelity locations:
Covington KY
Durham NC
Merrimack NH
Westlake TX
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
