MoranAssistant Superintendent for Human ResourcesSUBJECT:ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TRANSPORTATION OFFICE According to the terms of the contract the following position is being OFFICE CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION12 MONTHS SCHEDULE 5GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: experience and background in transportation possess excellent organizational proficiency and computer skills in word processing spreadsheet and database software applications including Windows keyboarding and mathematical skills candidate should be self-starter flexible able to take direction willingly and complete tasks in a timely manner to assure a smooth and efficient operation in the Transportation Office. to communicate in a courteous efficient and professional manner in dealing with personnel and the with the MUNIS accounts payable DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: typical office routines and and maintains forms databases and spreadsheets as revise and maintain appropriate filing system and other clerical telephone calls from parents and district staff; resolves problems and concerns in a positive manner; provides information as appropriate or routes calls to other officials as necessary for resolution and meetings as directed prepare schedules and inform participants confirming requisitions purchase orders and vendor invoices for vendor contracts and other vendor handle and store confidential information pertaining to the District or Transportation department and maintain confidentiality of all records and personnel meetings as assigned record transcribe and distribute minutes as weekly payroll function through Somroli and provide director with weekly payroll special projects and other duties as assigned by the Transportation duties responsibilities and expectations of this position will be discussed with each applicant at the time of the NOTE: Brockton residency must be established within one year of initial employment.
