Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to join our Project Services team. This opportunity is based in New Zealand supporting a local customer with some site presence required for an SAP Public Cloud project. We aim to balance flexibility with effective project execution. Project Management is a key function for the business to execute and deliver SAP solution projects across a diverse range of industries. You bring a wealth of experience in successfully delivering IT projects in an SME environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of a multiphase SAP Cloud project including project planning tracking and oversight to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Prepare and monitor installation schedules and timelines resulting in on-time and on-budget delivery to our customers
- Manage interact with and if necessary direct all relevant project consultants to ensure customer expectations and agreed deliverables are met
- Manage the processes associated with effective document control systems including but not limited to project handover administration documentation customer support and project closure
- Facilitate regular internal project progress reporting
- Liaise and negotiate with all relevant customer BPOs regarding contractual requirements
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop and improve project delivery processes and procedures in line with our project methodologies
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated success in managing medium-scale complex IT projects with a strong track record of delivering outcomes in dynamic environments.
- SAP project experience especially with public cloud is essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects including planning tracking and oversight
- Familiarity with productivity and methodology tools that improve project efficiency
- Experience with architecture development integration and deployment phases of IT projects
- Effective communication time-management analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide project teams
